Family history
The Berchoux family is one of the oldest families of Ternand. We were able to trace our origins back to 1285. We are now the 8th consecutive generation of winegrowers. The hamlet we live in has been registered under our name (Chez Berchoux) since the establishment of the land register in 1807. At that time, plots were given the name of their owner.
